A group for those with dementia accompanied by their carers
Where: Cheadle Hulme Methodist Church, Ramillies Avenue, Cheadle Hulme, SK8 7AL
When: 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month
Time: 2.00pm – 4.00pm
We initially have a drink and biscuit and have a time for a chat. We have various memory books to look through to spark discussion. We have a short devotional slot and sing some songs. We have activities such as chair exercises, chair boules (bocce), curling (no ice!), table tennis and table top games. We also sometimes have craft activities. We end with another drink and biscuit.
If you are interested, please contact Jackie who will be happy to discuss the group in more detail. She will then visit you at home and register you for the group if you feel it is suitable for you.
