Choosing an activity for your child isn’t just about filling an evening, it’s about finding somewhere they’ll enjoy going, feel welcome and have opportunities to grow.
That’s exactly what we hope to create at the First Cheadle Hulme Boys’ Brigade & Girls’ Association group.
What will we be doing? Playing games, getting creative, learning new skills and exploring the Christian faith. This will be a safe space to make friends, build confidence and have fun, while also encouraging values like kindness, compassion, teamwork and caring for others.
As a Christian youth organisation, faith is part of who we are too. Children will have opportunities to explore Bible stories, ask questions and think about some of life’s bigger questions - but you don’t need to attend church or be from a Christian family to join us.
Everyone is welcome.
Who is the group for? Children between 5 and 11 years old in school years 1-6.
When do we meet? Friday evenings 6:30 pm with 5-8 years olds (Anchors) finishing at 7:45 pm and 8-11 year olds (Juniors) finishing at 8:00 pm.
What does it cost? Your first evening is free – everyone needs a chance to try out a new club! Thereafter £39 per term (or pro rata if you join late in the term).
Do I need a uniform? For your first visit please wear comfortable clothes suitable for active games but we would hope that within a few weeks you would purchase a polo shirt to be worn with black trousers to show you are a proud member of our brigade.
