Evening Worship
What is it like?
Usually ReflectiveWhen is it?
Fourth Sundays, 6:30pm or Fifth Sundays, 6:30 pm venue to be announced.
We are currently holding one evening service each month, normally, but not always, on the fourth Sundays of the month. These services will be led by our minister, Rev Alistair Jones, a visiting minister or a local preacher. Services start at 6:30 pm and may be in the main church or the quiet room (Room 2) which is opposite the car park entrance.
The service will be reflective and may use Iona or Taize material. From time to time we offer alternative worship formats such as discussions on a theme.
We may use recorded hymns, live music from the Singers or a small worship band. Traditional hymns or modern contemporary songs may be featured.
Where there is a fifth Sunday in any month, Churches Together in Cheadle Hulme collaborate to meet together at one of the member churches. On these occasions, we have chosen to cancel our fourth Sunday evening worship and join on the Fifth Sunday. We will endeavour to include details of the venue for worship whenever this occurs.
Please check upcoming services for dates and venue on fifth Sundays.
