Community Carols

We are hoping to welcome representatives from  charities and political parties, the mayor and the Alliance church as well as our local community to a traditional service of readings and carols.  It should be a lovely occasion and we hope you can join us in the service and after for light refreshments.

Third Sunday in Advent
Sunday Dec 14th  10:30 am
We light our third candle and perhaps explore the traditional theme of Joy for this Sunday.

Carol Service
Sunday Dec 21st 10:30 am
Hear again the Wondrous Story - and sing some lovely Carols! If you prefer a morning Carol service, this is the one to choose.

Christingle Service
Christmas Eve Weds  Dec 24th  4:00 pm
One of our favourite services of the year.
Oranges, candles and young children – what’s not to love!
In this very special service, we supply the oranges and accessories and the children provide the enthusiasm, as they construct their Christingle and we reflect on what it represents. Expect a little chaos and a lot of fun – especially suitable for primary children but the whole family from great grandpa to baby in pushchair will find the joy of Christmas in this service.

Christmas Day
Thursday Dec 25th  10:00 am
Often a less busy service as we light the final candle on our Advent wreath and reflect on the arrival of the greatest gift of all – Jesus!
You might like to bring a present you have received to show us.

First Sunday after Christmas
Sunday Dec 28th 10:30 am
Our last service of 2025 - perhaps the ideal time to look back on what is past
but look forward to what is to come.
