Donations, Toys and Gifts for people in need

This Christmas we are supporting two charities - one online and the other with gifts collected in church.

 

Our first charity is 'Action For Children' who say

We protect and support children and young people, providing practical and emotional care and support. We ensure their voices are heard, and campaign to bring lasting improvements to their lives.

Our second charity is 'Stockport Without Abuse', a brilliant local organisation who support victims of domestic abuse

 Stockport Without Abuse have kindly supplied specific requests to help you find a suitable donation which should either be in very good condition or new and should not be wrapped.

 

Stockport Without Abuse Christmas 2025 Wish List

Christmas is a magical time, however, for many of the families we support it can often cause added stress and difficulty. With your support we hope to make this Christmas a special one to enjoy. We kindly ask that toys and gifts donated are new, unused, unwrapped and do not include alcohol, candles or promote violence, such as toy guns as an example.

       Children’s toys

  • All genders Ages 3-15 years

       Women’s gifts

  • Dressing gowns
  • Blankets
  • Fuzzy socks
  • Hot water bottles
  • Food hampers (no alcohol)
  • Kitchen goods, e.g. mugs, oven gloves, tea towels
  • Bath towels
  • Notebooks and pens
  • Mindful colouring books, pens, art supplies 2024 diaries
  • Makeup Perfume Nail varnish Hair products, e.g. bobbles, grips, hair bands

      The following donations are also very much welcomed and used all year round:

  • PVA Glue
  • Craft Packs or any craft resources
  • Paper and card (plain and coloured)
  • Pencils – writing and colouring
  • Pens – writing and colouring
  • Crayon packs
  • Playdough
  • School supplies such as stationary, pencil cases etc.
