Services from March 2021

Sunday 28th March

10:30am : Morning Worship in association with Churches Together in CH with Rev Philip Peacock with a reflection via video by Rev Dr Ruth Goldbourne (Grove Lane Baptist)

We regret that due to technical difficulties, the audio for the first part of this service was not recorded so you miss Rev Philip Peacock's opening remarks and call to worship. Sunday 14th March

Mr Bob Bartindale led morning worship on the topic of 'We will pray daily' - the first of three services exploring 'A Methodist Way of Life'.

Sunday 7th March

10:30am : Morning Worship with Revd Gill Newton

An especially warm welcome to our Church Anniversary Service held originally on March 7th at 10:30. Rev Gill Newton, Chair of the Sheffield Methodist District but previously our minister here at Cheadle Hulme Methodist Church, led a service entitled ‘Disruption’. Gill reflected on how Jesus’ actions in the temple John 2 vs 13 - 22 challenged the practices of his time and how that might speak to us in considering how the current disruptions might shape the future life of the church.
